This policy explains what Kaalaiyan Goli Soda ("Kaalaiyan", "we") collects through kaalaiyan.in, why, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect
- When you use the partner chat: the role you pick, your name, mobile number, city or district, business name and anything you write in the notes.
- Automatically with that form: the language you viewed the site in, your approximate region (state level, from your internet connection), the page address and a reference number.
- On your device only: your language and region choice, kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. This never leaves your device.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not collect payment details on this site.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and talk to you about becoming a distributor, franchise partner, stockist, supplier, investor or event partner, or about a job or a customer query.
- To keep a record of enquiries in our customer relationship system (KGS CRM) so the right team follows up.
- To contact you on WhatsApp or by phone about your enquiry. You start that conversation yourself when the form opens WhatsApp.
We use your details only for these purposes, on the basis of the consent you give when you send the form.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that run this site and our CRM for us: our website host (Cloudflare), our database provider, and WhatsApp (Meta) once you choose to continue there. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer if you become a partner and a contract requires it. Then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. You can also name someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before it.
Grievances
Our Grievance Officer can be reached at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
The partner chat is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
Data you send travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in access-controlled systems. Only staff who handle enquiries can see it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
